Keith Hussinger
Plant Manager
Keith R. Hussinger joined Kelly-Moore in 2005 as plant manager. With 26 years of management and engineering experience, he is responsible for the safety and efficiency of Kelly-Moore’s 15-acre paint manufacturing facility and its 120 employees. In this position, he oversees the plant operation, which includes strategic planning, financial budgeting, hiring and processing customer feedback.
Since joining Kelly-Moore, Keith has played an integral role at Kelly-Moore's manufacturing plant, creating a state-of-the-art and environmentally friendly facility. Under his leadership, the company installed a robotics system that resulted in over $1 million in annual savings. His efforts to reduce the plant's pollution and solid waste output and conserve water, energy and other natural resources led to Kelly-Moore winning four of the most widely recognized and stringent green business awards: the 2007 P3S (the Pretreatment, Pollution Prevention and Storm Water) Facility of the Year Award by the California Water Environment Association; the 2008 Outstanding Achievement in Industrial Wastewater Control by PS3 of the California Water Environment Association; the 2008 Green Business Certificate by the Board of Supervisors, county of San Mateo, state of California; and the 2009 San Carlos Certified Green Business by the California Assembly. Recently, Kelly-Moore was named the 2009 Large Green Business of the Year by the San Carlos Chamber of Commerce.
Previously, Keith was president and CFO of SOI Direct, a multi-million dollar semiconductor processing company that developed four world-class technologies. Prior to that, he worked as an engineering/program manager at Komag, where he managed engineering projects.
Keith received a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Later, he attended Northeastern University, where he earned an MBA with honors in the High Technology program.
He enjoys active sports, such as running, biking, hiking and soccer. Keith also volunteers at the American Youth Soccer Organization, where he has been a coach for seven years and has been on the executive board for five.
